The GreenteQ Q-Star is a TS007:2014 1-star rated euro cylinder offering high-quality security. It provides robust resistance to bumping, picking, and drilling attacks. Choosing a Euro Lock
Choosing a Euro Lock
Euro Lock cylinders are the most common in the UK for uPVC. They are relatively easy to install on a DIY basis.
To see what size euro lock you need, measure from the centre of the screw hole to the edge of the handle backplate outside and round up the size to the next 5mm increment i.e. 32mm = 35mm. This will ensure the euro cylinder correctly protrudes from the backplate of the handle (you want to keep it as close to the backplate as possible). Now do exactly the same and measure the inner side. The sides are inter-changeable.
